CONFUSION: WETTERLING MAY STILL RUN FOR CONGRESS

This is further evidence that Wetterling's announcement about her running for the U.S. Senate was actually a non-announcement:

"Wetterling was not available for comment beyond her written statement, but her campaign spokesman, John Schadl, said she has not ruled out running in the 6th District. 'She's looking at where she can do the most good,' he said." Source: Pioneer Press, February 25, 2005
