DAYTON GIVES ANOTHER EXCUSE FOR CLOSING HIS SENATE OFFICE

Dayton now claims he closed his office "after a possible ricin attack on the Senate majority leader’s office." Source: The Hill, February 2, 2005

The ricin attack he is referring to occurred on February 4, 2004. If Dayton was so concerned about this attack, why did he close his office 251 days later on October 12, 2004?

Dayton's original excuse for closing his office was "because of a classified intelligence report which made him fear for the safety of his staff." Source: Pioneer Press, February 2, 2005
