MORE TROUBLE FOR ALARY'S BAR
"After years of Vulcans working to shed the St. Paul Winter Carnival group's lecherous reputation, police are investigating a report of a man dressed as a Vulcan groping a woman at a downtown bar earlier this week.
The woman reported the alleged criminal sexual conduct to police Wednesday afternoon. She told them a man was putting a garter on her leg at Alary's Bar at 139 E. Seventh St. about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he 'engaged in unwanted sexual contact with her,' said officer Paul Schnell, department spokesman." Source: Pioneer Press, February 4, 2005
As I previously posted this morning, Alary's has shut down their website, www.alarys.com.
MDE exposed how Alary's website had pictures of female staff in provocative and sexually suggestive positions, yet this didn't stop Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch from using Alary's for campaign events. Hatch spent $800 in 2004 at Alary's bar for "bus rental and $5725 in in 2002 for numerous campaign events, including a post-general election party.
