IS OTTO ALREADY FUDGING THE NUMBERS?

This is a picture of Otto's press conference. How many people actually attended?

According to Rebecce Otto, "about 50" people attended her press conference on Wednesday:

"This morning, March 23, 2005, at 11 am, surrounded by about 50 friends, family and supporters, I held a press conference with the Capitol press corps to announce my candidacy for State Auditor in 2006." Source: Otto for Auditor email

I was sent this picture by someone who attended the press conference and it sure doesn't look like "about 50" people were in attendence.

Is Otto, a candidate for state auditor, already fudging the numbers?

If so, by how much? It looks like about 35 people actually attended.
