I love your blog. Givem hell.
I think a rally for peace, so the soldiers don't have to be in harms way--not wanting soldiers to die--is supporting the troops. But I won't get in to that argument here. Also in a brief search I came up with this:
Deb Repya--alternate to the 2004 Republican National Convention and, along with her husband, a huge donor to Republicans. http://news.minnesota.publicradio.org/features/2004/08/26_newsroom_mndelegates/
Kelly Freudenberg--I'm sure you will jump all over me for saying something about her, but she is a self proclaimed supporter of President Bush. You attack Cindy Sheehan (who also lost her son) mercilessly, I am not attacking Ms. Freudenberg, simply pointing out that she is clearly partisan.
I didn't find anything about the Dunaway's. So the lesson--the peace rally has partisans and so does the counter-rally.
nk2134, one thing you will notice if you pay close enough attention is that Republicans and conservatives rarely conceal their partisan loyalties. They do not try to present themselves as people without political or ideological commitments. I only wish Democrats and the left were as transparent about these things instead of trying to present themselves as merely "concerned citizens" or whatever other nonpartisan labels they apply to themselves.
Noticed that Michele Bachmann got some ink for participating in this rally. She's never one to miss a photo op.
