This is bullshit.
I already posted about donating to the Red Cross. I am working on a post about Liberal Blogs for Hurricane Relief.
I've donated myself, and I will do so again.
There is no contradiction between asking for donations and pointing out that the federal, state, and local governments have completely botched the planning and execution of disaster relief.
And you're a hypocrite. You're using this as a chance to score political points, while saying scoring political points is wrong at this time. If you were so pure hearted, you'd just post about donating.

MDE is merely pointing out the opportunistic Moonbats who are trying to use this horrible natural disaster to try to further their agenda, because that is what he does! And if that happens to score him points, it’s merely because of the left loosing points for their stupid comments.
And, just for the record, I think that it’s horrible for BOTH sides, not just one, and there are right wing wackos as well who are doing the same, but this just isn’t the right blog for pointing those out!

I'm just concerned about MDE's basic reading comprehension skills. Where has anyone blamed Bush for Hurricane Katrina? Even the (mostly poor and black) refugees aren't blaming Bush for the hurricane itself! Accusing him of making poor choices in the use of public funds (Iraq vs. domestic disaster protection), that's fair game.
