KLOBUCHAR IS NOT FROM THE IRON RANGE
Amy Klobuchar is not from the Iron Range, but rather Plymouth. It appears she is trying to distance herself from her suburban upbrining:

She's saying she has a connection to the Iron Range. What's wrong with that? Nowhere does she say she was born anywhere but Plymouth. Perhaps her birthplace, in itself, is not particularly important to her.
This is a shot in the dark, but I'm glad to see it. If this is the best you can find to use against future Sen. Klobuchar, it'll be a great election season.
That's right, I have roots in Pennsylvania, where my family is from, but I wasn't born there nor raised there.

Did you click on the link? It takes you to a website where the person received a phone call from Klobuchar.
So somebody - not even a Klobuchar volunteer - was wrong in a post on a message board. So what?

Yeah, you are right, I do read and post regularly. I would think MDE wants my honest opinion. I suppose this story would be fine for the weak blogs out there, but MDE is (in my book) graded on a higher standard.
Best MN political blog there is. I have no doubt that in the next 30 days he/she will post material that I can praise them for.
