I completely agree. The web is not like paper, where black words on a light background are the most readable, the opposite is true (in my not-so-humble opinion). I couldn't help but use the same template for my new blog http://anokacountywatch.blogspot.com.
Yellow font is nice on the black background of your blog. On the white background used on Bloglines the yellow font is unreadable. I guess I'll have to go back to guessing what you're writing about.
I know that I could just load your blog from Bloglines but that sort of defeats the purpose of using bloglines.
Ok... I suggested you check on the research on what is readable. In my opinion the black background with white is more difficult to read than white background with black text.
Well, I can see that all the GOPers that want to build a bridge back to the 1950s love the old way that does not play well with RSS readers. I to get my dose of MDE that way (I use Safari's RSS reader, it is quite nice), but the yellow text really does not work well with the otherwise plain formatted text. Maybe consider using red for the yellow comments and red (and underlined) for the old red ones... Just a suggestion.

MDE is so wise to listen to me.
Oh yeah I forgot, go away Eva! How dare you support you point with research. Just do as I say MDE!

Thanks MDE. I missed the old look.
Besides, it made the older posts hard to read.
If Lloydletta doesn't like it, you know you're doing the right thing.
Thanks for switching back!
