BREAKING NEWS: REPUBLICAN PARTY OF MINNESOTA HITS KLOBUCHAR WITH RYBAK COMMENT
RYBAK UNDERCUTS FOUNDATION OF KLOBUCHAR CANDIDACY
ST. PAUL - Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding Mayor R.T. Rybak's comments during last night's debate.
"During last night's televised debate between R.T. Rybak and Peter McLaughlin, Mayor Rybak undercut the heart of Amy Klobuchar's Senate candidacy by highlighting the fact '70% of the people who committed homicide in Minneapolis last year were on Hennepin County probation.'
"Amy Klobuchar often boasts about her record fighting crime. Unfortunately for her, even R.T. Rybak recognizes that the prosecution of violent crime in Hennepin County has been completely unacceptable in recent years." Source: Republican Party of Minnesota press release.

Since when does the County Attorney make decisions on sentencing?
I thought that was the job of the activist judges that the Republicans complain about so much.
Speaking of which, how many of these judges are Republican appointees?
The Republicans seem to go into a frenzy over Hatch and Klobuchar. Those must be the two they are most worried about.
