This is unbelievable. Hatch times his announcement for governor to coincide with his appearance in court only ninety minutes later.
Hatch wants the media coverage of his campaign kick-off to include him defending two little girls who lost their mother in a tragic plane crash.

Not a surprise...the man is scum.
Mike Hatch has a job to do, a job that no Republican has the spine to do, as the voters acknowledged in 2002. Republicans would undoubtedly let this horrific act on the part of the insurance company slide, while Hatch is going to do something about it. The campaign be damned - Hatch is defending people no Republican would bother with.
Hatch's announcement has been set for late October since the Spring.
Not sure if that helps or hurt, but I've known since the spring that it will be in late October. He stuck to it in spite of the other Gubernatorial candidates pushing the date earlier to draw him out.
