Isn't this MINNESOTA Democrats Expossed? I guess you are just trying to provide cover for Libby.
I actual did this for that exact reason. I new somebody would get upset. Even though Barry was indicted, you can't
Good!
He was a crook and an embarassment.
Now lets talk about the SECOND White House employee to be indicted today.
Even on the national scene the Republicans out do the Dems when it comes to indictments.
So if barry serves his complete time in jail, Scooter Libby will still have 28 years to go.
I promise you that Rove or the premise for War will be the next bombshell.
I promise you that Rove or the premise for War will be the next bombshell.
Isn't it a sad commentary on the state of politics when someone is actually rooting for this.
Rooting for an end to the corruption in our highest office is a sad commentary?
C'mon John, you can spin better than that.
A few years ago, the DFL had a piece telling how the GOP Distort, Distract and Lie.
Distort= She wasn't undercover. Wilson was a liar.
Distract= Its a shame we're rooting for this. The War, The War, Terror, Terror!
Lie= (Soon enough)

No, THAT was a good attempt at spin.
You "promise" us that Rove will be the "next bombshell" like you are looking forward to it. Unless you were in the Grand Jury room and have some special insight, you're clearly rooting for it.
Your OPINION is that Rove is "corrupt". Because you don't like him doesn't make it so. That's not spin, that's fact, my friend.
I am all for taking out corruption. If Libby did lie before the Grand Jury, he should be tossed in jail. Same for Rove. But Clinton should be just getting out of the halfway house for doing the exact same thing, too, since he did the same thing and did it on tape.
By the way, I still believe Wilson's nothing but a liar. So does British intelligence.
When was Clinton indicted for perjury, obstruction of justice or even lying to grand jury?
'Spin' is you comparing Clinton's land deal(Whitewater) investigation- before he was President, to a breach in National Security that could affect the reliablility of the human intelligence we receive. Afterall, if you don't tell certain Bush officials what they want to hear- you can find yourself out of work.
Did you not learn anything through this whole thing? Are you so blindly loyal that you have lost all cognitive ability?
Libby's testimony was not only in direct contradiction of all who he named as witnesses, but to his own notes that were turned in to the Prosecuter. He's a very smart Washington lawyer that's been a major player for a couple of decades. This is not characteristic. Who is he covering for?
You're nothing but a typical shallow daily talking points reader of the GOP. The problem is they give you nothing when challenged?
I've called you to mat to prove your assessment that DFLers are more corrupt than Republicans. You run to another thread. Yet, I have to give proof and you disappear.
You've shat your flawed opinion around this blog like you take Ex-Lax with that Kool-Aid you drink. Here's your chance to shut me up:
Back up your claim that Clinton was indicted for perjury (I won't even make you stretch to explain how that investigation is as serious as this one).
And, post your proof that Wilson is a liar.
If Wilson is a proven liar, explain what has that got to do with this investigation INITIATED by the CIA and signed off by George Tenet- who recieved a medal of freedom from Bush earlier this year.
Balls in your court big mouth.
Rove FACTS:
ORIGINALLY DENIED ANY INVOLVMENT IN THE LEAK: Asked on 9/29/03 whether he had “any knowledge” of the leak or whether he leaked the name of the CIA agent, Rove answered “no.” That same day, White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, after having “spoken to Karl,” asserted that “it is a ridiculous suggestion” to say Rove was involved in the leak. In August 2004, Rove maintained, “I didn’t know her name and didn’t leak her name.” [ABC News, 9/29/03; White House Press Briefing, 9/29/03; RawStory; Newsweek, 7/11/05]
ROVE SPOKE WITH TIME REPORTER MATT COOPER: In a conversation with Time reporter Matt Cooper — a conversation that Rove insisted be kept on “deep background” — Rove instructed Cooper, “Don’t get too far out on Wilson.” Rove then identified Valerie Plame as “Wilson’s wife” who “works at the agency on wmd [weapons of mass destruction].” According to Cooper, his conversation with Karl Rove was the first time he had heard anything about Wilson’s wife. Additionally, Rove told Cooper that further information discrediting Wilson and his findings would soon be declassified and ended the phone conversation by saying “I’ve already said too much.” [Time, 7/25/05]
ROVE SPOKE WITH COLUMNIST ROBERT NOVAK: A week prior to publishing his column which outed undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame, Robert Novak spoke with Karl Rove. In the 7/8/03 conversation with Rove, Novak brought up Plame’s role at the CIA, and Rove confirmed for the reporter that Plame worked at the CIA: “I heard that too,” said Rove. [NYT, 7/15/05]
ROVE TESTIFIED FOUR TIMES BEFORE THE GRAND JURY: Karl Rove appeared before a federal grand jury for a fourth and most likely last time on October 14, 2005. In his previous testimony to the grand jury, Karl Rove reportedly admitted “that he circulated and discussed damaging information regarding [Plame] with others in the White House, outside political consultants, and journalists” and “is said to have named at least six other administration officials” who were involved. From Rove’s description of the administration’s efforts, sources characterized the actions as “an aggressive campaign to discredit Wilson through the leaking and disseminating of derogatory information regarding him and his wife to the press, utilizing proxies such as conservative interest groups and the Republican National Committee to achieve those ends, and distributing talking points to allies of the administration on Capitol Hill and elsewhere.” [American Prospect, 3/8/04; Newsweek, 7/11/05; Reuters, 10/14/05]
ROVE DEFENSE TEAM ANTICIPATES CHARGES; ROVE PLANS TO RESIGN IF INDICTED: “Rove’s defense team asserts that President Bush’s deputy chief of staff has not committed a crime but nevertheless anticipates that special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald could find a way to bring charges in the next two weeks.” “Bush senior adviser Rove and others at the White House had concluded that if indicted he would immediately resign or possibly go on unpaid leave, several legal and Administration sources familiar with the thinking told Time.” [Washington Post, 10/15/05; Time, 10/24/05]
ROVE WAS REPORTEDLY ADMONISHED BY BUSH FOR LEAKING: “An angry President Bush rebuked chief political guru Karl Rove two years ago for his role in the Valerie Plame affair, sources told the Daily News. ‘He made his displeasure known to Karl,’ a presidential counselor told The News. ‘He made his life miserable about this.’” [NY Daily News, 10/19/05]
MEMBER OF THE WHITE HOUSE IRAQ GROUP: Rove was a regular participant in the weekly meetings of the Bush Administration’s White House Iraq Group. The main purpose of the group was the systematic coordination of the “marketing” of going to war with Iraq as well as selling the war here at home. One clear example of this fact is that “the escalation of nuclear rhetoric” during the pre-war stage, “including the introduction of the term ‘mushroom cloud’ into the debate, coincided with the formation” of WHIG. The group included the other individual who has been confirmed as a leaker, Lewis Libby. [Washington Post, 8/10/03]
Still waiting for that Clinton info Jordan.

Nice try, my friend. Clinton lied under oath, was IMPEACHED, was disbarred and has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements. I guess those don't matter.
Balls in your court big mouth.
You're nothing but another anonymous Sean. Throw out a bunch of bumpersticker accusations and then call your opponent names. Why is it that democrats have to do that? No, really. I don't call you names but you find yourself doing it all the time.
You've posted a lot of assumptions on Rove but, to date, none have been proven to be more than that. Because you can type a lot of words doesn't make any of them true.
As to "shutting you up", there's nothing I could possibly say that would do that. You're hell-bent on believing the worst about Republicans no matter the facts. You've got such a shallow, bitter view of us that it's going to take a life-altering experience before you will ever allow yourself to see anything other than your own strange view of the world.
In the end, you're unworthy of the attempt.
True Republican.
No facts to turn to so turn on the messenger adn discredit them. You have learned well John.
By the way- those aren't accusation on Rove, them be facts my man. Its the reason he remains under investigation.
He leaked, the question is was it illegal and did he commit perjury to cover it up?
He probably told the truth about it to the Prosecutor, so he's not indicted. Yet.
Clinton was never indicted.
Say what you want, but whatever he was charged with it came out to a misdemeanor and not a High Crime. Treason is a high crime. Libby the Liar is charged with a FEW felonies.
Again, I give facts and even cite my research, you come back with rhetoric. Defend your man, John. Tell me why he is not corrupt, and I'll go back from Friday to 30 years ago at the Dirty Tricks Rove has perfected. That's right as an RNC aide to Bush sr, he was there when Nixon's dirty tricks started coming out.
So this is yet another thread you can't back up your garbage.
I don't know who Sean was, but he apparently got bored of kicking your ass on here and left.
See you after church.
Current Republican corruption include:
Libby being indicted
WHite House Cheif of Procurments (contracts) led away in handcuffs- indicted
Majority Leader in the Senate- under investigation for illegal trading
Majority Leader in the House- indicted for several counts
White House Deputy Cheif of Staff- under investigation
----------------------------
Those are just the office holders at the top in the WHite House, Seante and House. There are dozens and dozens across the nation in local offices that have been charged with everything from child molestation to murder conspiracy. All within the last year. I won't even talk about your former House mate that was a known sex offender who settled out of court.
It seems if you just give lip service to the mantra of the Right, you'll be rewarded, but as you, Mr Jordan, found out, the chickens will come home to roost and people will reject that lack of substance.
You still want to talk about indictments? Or, will your next post try to turn things around on me? Or, will you just crawl back in your hole until the next set of speaking points come out from the GOP?
Now, I'm off to church.

Priceless!
I hereby nominate SP_Dink for DFLer of the month.
Thank you Swiftless.
What must I do to win that annual distinction?
Back to indictments.
Any of repubs want to answer them or show where Dems are as or more corrupt?
Or do you want to do what tomiie swiftless and the repubs do best, run from content and substance and attack the messenger of bad news?
admit you are michael brodkorb and i will stop posting your home address and directions to your home
dflblog.com and lloydletta.blogspot.com should be time's "bloggers of the year"
"What must I do to win that annual distinction?"
Just continue to be the spunk recepticle that you are.
stpaul_dfler.....The Senate looked into the whole Joe Wilson thing and THEIR REPORT came out and said that he lied in his report re:his trip to Niger. On Page 49 (of 521 found here http://intelligence.senate.gov/iraqreport2.pdf) the Senate report states AS FACT that Mr. Wilson was recommended for this trip by his wife who worked for the CIA something he has categorically denied. Page 50 talks about a meeting on 2/19/2002 where "CPD hosted a meeting with the former ambassador...the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the merits of the former ambassador going to Niger...AN ANALYST'S NOTES INDICATE THAT THE MEETING WAS APPARENTLY CONVENED BY THE FORMER AMBASSADOR'S WIFE WHO HAD THE IDEA TO DISPATCH HIM....."
If you want to talk about lies and the lying liars who tell them, let's not forget the media's darling, Joe Wilson....
So are you admitting tha the White House over-reacted to discredit a liar?
Why not just discredit his findings?
Why go after his family?
Ironic you can defend the WH in this case but yet see the dirty and dangerous effects of these tactics when "i hate mde" brings in Michael Brodkorbs family and personal info into the public forum.
Rather MB/MDE is a liar or a Saint, his arguments are here for us to debate and debase(for me). Why couldn't the WH do the same over Joe's findings?
MORE refutation of Joe Wilson's public statements (from the SSCI report):
[the former ambassador's] intelligence report indicated that former Nigerien Prime Minister Ibrahim Mayaki was unaware of any contracts that had been signed between Niger and any rogue states for the sale of yellowcake while he was Prime Minister (1997-1999) or Foreign Minister (1996-1997). Mayaki said that if there had been any such contract during his tenure, he would have been aware of it. Mayaki said, however, that in June 1999,(REDACTED) businessman, approached him and insisted that Mayaki meet with an Iraqi delegation to discuss "expanding commercial relations" between Niger and Iraq. The intelligence report said that Mayaki interpreted "expanding commercial relations" to mean that the delegation wanted to discuss uranium yellowcake sales. The intelligence report also said that "although the meeting took place, Mayaki let the matter drop due to the UN sanctions on Iraq."
Yeah - I know....it is sad that I have nothing "better" to do on a Sunday afternoon...but I got bored watching the football game and I shipped the rest of the family off for some quality "me" time.....
The did just discredit his findings....then when Mr. Wilson lied about WHO sent him to Niger he ended up dragging HIS OWN WIFE into the mess. If he had not lied about who sent him he would not be in this mess....
As far as MDE's little friend vs bringing Joe Wilson's wife up in this little spat....no one is stalking Valerie Plame....however, it is obvious that I Hate MDE is stalking Michael Brodkorb. There IS a legal difference, especially when Fitzpatrick could not find evidence to indict anyone on the "outing" charges where there is plenty of stalking evidence right here on this blog.....
OK LL. I see we are going to dance this dance.
Another question:
Why does MDE find it necessary to point out that Hatch had a fundraisers at Alary's? A cop bar, where during the WInter Carnival some waitresses got sexually assaulted by Vulcans? MDE also felt the need to post some of the scantily dressed lasses on the site. Why? To give the image that Mike Hatch is somehow sleezy or immoral.
Yet...
The Sixth District Republican Caucus is having a convention at the Mermaid Bar in Moundsview. Is there a bigger meat market in the north burbs? Yes- but not many. Mermaids, known for X busts and plenty of wet t-shirt contests. Thi is the place that the candidates will try to out family values the next?
Classic.
I think Mike Hatch is sleezy for hosting a fundraiser at Alary's.
It was just wrong. Let's see if Hatch does it again.
For someone who belongs to a political party that is supposedly AGAINST the exploitation of women to hold a fundraiser in an establishment that does just that is hypocritical at the very best Stpaul.... It's called walking the walk.

Alary's doesn't treat thier women employees bad at all. It was the patrons that day- who by the way are Republicans who overtly support Pawlenty, Coleman and Mayor Kelly. Check out where the sex offender gives money.
Also, check out the attorneys who are representing the women, you may reconize his name as one who is from a very DFL family. Then look at the name of the attorney for Mr Sex Offender. Then cross reference his name with some of those campaigns of the above mentioned pols.
Again, Alary's is a cop bar where our finest hangout- and yours truly.
Mermaids is a meat market that hosts the best wet t-shirt contests in the Twin Cities.
Hatch is one democrat that you say held a fundraiser there- though I'm sure the women dressed different (the pix displayed are net pix fromtheir site) for the event.
The 6thCD is hosting their entire line-up of candidates, with visits from every statewide elected Republican showing up too.
I know it doesn't matter. Nobody has to enter a wet t-shirt contest unless they want, and the busts for X (which they had to shut down twice for) and underage drinking is just how the ball rolls. Afterall, the owners of mermaids give money to the GOP, so all the family values crap the Bachmans and other GOPers yelp about is not an issue with this place.
