Any persecuter...er...prosecuter worth his/her salt can get a grand jury to indict someone. It's getting the convictions that will be much more difficult. (Why does this remind me of a Seinfeld episode and car reservatins?)

Excuse me? Because I question her qualifications for being governor and because I accurately describe her as being a "pinknick", I'm a "chicken hawk"? Can't the DFL produce anyone new? Let's set the debate about qualifications aside and simply look at her ability to run a decent campaign. Becky Lourey can't energize people! She is another tired, recycled candidate -- not to mention she is far too left, even for most Minnesotans! Surely the dems who read MDE can agree with this!

That is a very accurate statement. She's probably a very nice person but she lacks the ability to charge up a base of supporters larger than a room of Seans.
Like I said in the beginning, "yawn".
A republican friend of mine in the sixth last year said "I won't vote for Wetterling just because her son was kidnapped". What if her son was not kidnapped? Would you be able to vote for her then? If Becky Laurie's son was still alive would that make her a better or worst governor? It is not just Democrats that do this. John Kline was all over MPR recently because his boy is going to Iraq.
God forbid Kline's son is hurt because republicans would stop backing him.

If the campaign manager thing is your only supporting evidence, it is pretty weak. You must not know Becky.
