Proving yet another point of mine. When confronted, Republicans tend to Distort, Distract and Lie.
This a Distraction as Clinton is not in office. The current White House occupier is having problems with felony indictments among his staff and Michael brings this up.
Weak, pathetic attempt. Why not stick with Bush and fight it out?
and yet when Dems had the opportunity to "stick with President Clinton and fight it out" they instead decided to bring up Watergate and Iran-Contra....what's the difference?????
Crimes against the State versus criminal activities outside of that duty.
Democrats fuck-up and tis usually some stupid petty crap.
Republicans do it and it always involve circumventing the Constitution (I guess it becomes too bothersome for their long term viewpoint).

The charge against Scooter Libby is perjury. If he is convicted I believe he should do some heavy time.
I am glad MOST Democrats once again recognize perjury as a great evil. Except for StPaulDFLer. For him it depends on whether the accused is a Democrat in a sexual harassment case ("petty crap") or a Republican in a CIA leak case ("circumventing the constitution").

I've spent that last week outlining the Republicans criminal activity on the national and state scene, without going back in time. Here and now, there are more being investigated than you can shake a stick at.
You are free to list the criminal activities that Democrats are being investigated for. Go ahead.

And, if you don't believe there is a difference in the level of gravity between criminal activity and criminal activity against the State- then you are truly in over your head.
Oh yeah- Libby was indicted for Perjury- Clintn was not.
Yeah Clinton was a horrible traitor.
But, when I took evidence of illegal weapon sales to the Chinese over to Bob Dole's office, I couldn't even get a staff stooge to speak w/ me.
GOP Rep. Gil Gutkneckt kept quiet about the China weapons for $$$ scams.
Note to MDE. Both parties suck?

GOP thought the sperm-stained dress was more important than selling nukes' to China.
Maybe if you actually ever dared to ask a GOP clone to do something good for America you would finally understand the reality.

Clinton only avoided a perjury charge because he did what the prosecutor told him to do.
Give up law license, pay fine, admitt perjury etc.
