This blog is called Minnesota Democrats Exposed. It is not called Minnesota Republicans Exposed or Highlight the Problems of the Bush Administration.
So, what exactly does this have to do with Minnesota MDE?
This is a disgusting case of you being a hypocritical flip-flopper.
Sean
If I am correct, Senator Dayton does have to vote on (or filibuster) this nominee.
Easy Sean, don't get too excited. I have always tried to post information on Supreme Court picks because of this reason.
Please note the links on the right side of my blog.
I say fight hard, but confirm this guy. He will be a fucking anchor around the necks of the Bushies.
True conservatives, which he is, are not big on Big Government.
-Patriot Act, bye-bye
-Eminent Domain-see ya
-FCC lax regs- over
Anyway, he disagreed with Bush v. Gore and upheld a court ruling that allowed a couple of Muslim cops to keep their beards against department regulations.
So, he still understands civil liberties and amendments beyond the 2nd.
Let's get these hearing going!
So, he still understands civil liberties and amendments beyond the 2nd.
So the liberals I've been listening too all day (Hello Senator Schumer!) who have been claiming that Alito will turn back the clock on history were lying? Liberals lying? That's unbelievable. Which Democrat do I believe?
Please try to help me out by working out a unified message and then come back. Thanks
Now you want me to try to rally my boys behind a unified message?
Where was that unity last month when the Republicans were tearing themselves a new over Miers.
Before Miers, they were running commercials and doing the sound bites that ALL judicial nominees deserve an up or down vote on the floor. Yet, they pushed Miers over cliff before that could happen.
I still beleive that Alito will be a Souter in the sense that he is constitutional and is not afraid or so political that the Executive branch can push an agenda thru him.
But, if my boys think they can filibuster this nominee and blow the process up until we get someone more moderate- or it weighs unfavorably on the Republicans (thus bringing down their approval ratings even more), more power to them. I'll take that too.
How's that for help?
Jeesus. MDE thinks a GOP press release is reliable.
They probably still believe the WMD claims.
Maybe next week they can post one of Rep. Gutkneckt's press releases on how well things are going in Iraq.
