WILL THE REAL COLEEN ROWLEY PLEASE STAND-UP?
Just remember that Democrats brought up Rowley's appearance, not Republicans.
"[Coleen] Rowley, who retired from the FBI last year, said she's spoken to people to get their input, both inside and outside of politics, but has been put off by some suggestions that she get a 'makeover.'
'I've butted heads with a few people - anyone who tells me I have to spruce up my hair and buy a new wardrobe,' Rowley said, declining to identify the source of this unwanted advice. 'I haven't worn makeup since I was 21. You have to be authentic and genuine in serving the populace.' Source: Associated Press, May 23, 2005
"But she's still wary of political consultants who have advised her to apply makeup, upgrade her wardrobe and update her hairstyle. 'It's just my gut instinct that it's all wrong for me," she says. 'It's not who I am.'" Source: Time, June 6, 2005
But Rowley must have decided to go against her instincts and pretend to be someone that she isn't:
"Rowley often jokes about the criticism she got for her somewhat disheveled appearance when she testified before the U.S. Senate. But she seems to have taken such remarks to heart as well - she's since replaced her oversized aviator eyeglasses with a smaller pair, and has adopted a more stylish haircut." Source: Associated Press, October 30, 2005
It's sad Rowley can't "be authentic and genuine in serving the populace."

Hmm MDE, getting a little bored?
Have you seen Coleen since her supposed haircut and smaller glasses?
No difference. Sort of like when they replaced Darren on Bewitched from Dick York to Dick Seargent. Who could tell?
More ho-hum.
Let's compare her background in counter-terrorism with John Kline's military background and figure out which one will serve us better in that aspect?
Her looks? Who cares?

Really? Re-read the story you printed below this and say that again. It is a documented fact that she served the public much better than her superiors in Washington were.
She cut her hair pal. Women tend to do that at least once in 20 years.
Blah, blah, blah. Still trying to distract from the story of the day. Indictments! Republicans 3 (plus two pending) Democrats 0.
St. Paul DFLer:
This blog is called Minnesota Democrats Exposed. It is not called Minnesota Republicans Exposed or Highlight the Problems of the Bush Administration.
Aside from the occasional post on national politics, I think by now you would understand that Minnesota Demcrats Exposed focuses on Minnesota Democrats.
As a Democrat, you clearly have an interest in reminding the readers of Minnesota Democrats Exposed of the problems that you and other Democrats have with Republicans at all levels of government.
Statments such as "Blah, blah, blah. Still trying to distract from the story of the day. Indictments! Republicans 3 (plus two pending) Democrats 0," are not appreciated.
It clear you wish to engage in a debate about Scooty Libby, but not every post on Minnesota Democrats Exposed is the appropriate place.
Fine. Just don't go deleting my posts. And, even when I try to change the subject, I do the courtesy of addressing the subject you posted. Even in this case.
Since you about to start censoring my posts, can I take it that they only way to sto me is to excercise that ability to delete?
See, in my name, i expose myself as a DFLer. Its there for all to attack- and they try. Post after post not once addressing the subject, but addressing me directly. I can take it.
If you want only praise, or weak DFL comments like before I got here, then find you own Alan Colmes and let him post for the 'other side' and delete all others. You already have MN Lefty Liberal.
I'm also the only one who can sway from partisanship to point out right and wrong.
Problem seems to be your boys are bitching about the dust that I'm kicking up and backing up.
Well, I know Republicans. Your next step will be to expell this voice of dissent so that the group may continue to stroke each other to compliance.
Whatever.
I have no intention of deleting your posts. I just simply ask that you not be a broken record about Scooter Libby on every post.
(If you ask me, Scooter Libby should be indicted for have a nickname like Scooter)
I encourage you to continue posting and being a royal pain in the ass to the many Republicans who visit Minnesota Democrats Exposed.
BTW: Unless you are a teenager, don't ever end a post with "whatever."
MDE
My bad on the 'whatever'.
I'm sure Scooter will have people to call him Lew from this point on.
And, how many republicans do you think read this blog? Any big time pols?
I don't know how many.
Slow news day when the best you can do is 'highlight' Coleens fashion sense. Perhaps you should consider renaming your blog to 'Minnesota Democrat Remakes'!
And since you brought the burning hot topic of fashion sense and being 'real' to our attention, how do you think Scooter will look in an orange jumpsuit?
Hey MDE, this thread is dead. Let's get the new SCOTUS discussion going.
