HATCH CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS
Read this quote from DFL Party chair Brian Melendez.

Now read this quote from Mike Hatch's campaign website.
"While Mike's Office does not have criminal jurisdiction, it is requested by county attorneys to intervene in certain murder and gang crime prosecutions. In this capacity Mike has doubled the number of criminal prosecutions undertaken by the Office, prosecuting approximately 25 murders per year and hundreds of gang related crimes."
Hatch and his allies can't have it both ways. Hatch's office either is or isn't involved with cases at the county attorney level.
Melendez is just trying to defend Hatch's actions in Mower County.
