IS HATCH'S CAMPAIGN FUDGING THE NUMBERS?
A reader with a sharp eye noticed this paragraph on Mike Hatch's campaign website:
"While Mike's Office does not have criminal jurisdiction, it is requested by county attorneys to intervene in certain murder and gang crime prosecutions. In this capacity Mike has doubled the number of criminal prosecutions undertaken by the Office, prosecuting approximately 25 murders per year and hundreds of gang related crimes." Source: Mike Hatch for governor website

Hundreds of gang related crimes? 25 murders per year? These numbers look very fishy. If Hatch's website lists lies about he time as DFL Party chair, why not fudge crime numbers?

Why don't you just say, flat out, that you don't trust a single word on Hatch's website and begin from there? Why do you trust Tim Pawlenty and George Bush not to fudge official numbers much more important than how many murders the Office of the Attorney General assisted in?
