I have been informed by numerous sources that two media outlets are working on a story detailing legislative housing reimbursements for out-state members.

So when is MDE going to take on Sen. Bob Kierlin?
He gets tax breaks from bogus 'non-profit' foundation donations while our schools go broke.
Oops. Kielin is a GOP stooge so I guess MDE will not touch him.

Clearly Todd doesn't know Sen. Kierlin or his legitimate record of donating tens of thousands of dollars a year to education - or his borderline obsessive commitment to tax compliance, especially from the wealthy. Have you ever heard his rant on unpaid use taxes? It’s a doozie…
Maybe you want to do a little digging on his incredibly generous (and very quiet) contributions to public and private education institutions in his region and across the nation. The fact that you'd take this kind of shot at Sen. Kierlin - named the cheapest CEO in America, a man who still answers his own work phone and buys his clothes second hand - shows how uninformed you are on the subject.
This is a guy who actually gives the rich a good name....but it's a lot easier to vilify him, right Todd?
Link us up to where we can check out this great example of walking it like he talks it.
Here's just a handful I found with a quick internet search....though if you're not satisfied with the $500,000 gift to St. Mary's University and numerous recognitions for charitable contributions to programs for adults with developmental disabilities, workforce development organizations, clean up and rescue efforts after September 11th and a plethora of education programs, let me know and I'll give you another dozen examples of his philanthropy.
You're simply picking on the wrong guy this time.

Thanks for the links. The only things it shows is that he has a foundation set up for three private schools. St Mary's and two Montessoris in the Cities.
Yawn.
You want to see a list of what Mark Dayton or Mike Ciresi has supported with their money over the years?
Even Glen Taylor has done more.
The concern probably comes from public dollars going to private institutes.
