KLOBUCHAR MAKES GAFFE ON VETERANS
According to a dedicated reader of Minnesota Democrats Exposed, Amy Klobuchar referred to the "Veterans Administration" repeatedly during her Capitol news conference this morning. This is a little like referring to the US Department of Defense as the US Department of War.
Note to Amy Klobuchar: For the past 18 years, the Veterans Administration has been known as the Department of Veterans Affairs. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan elevated the VA to cabinet status and on March 15, 1989, the Department of Veterans Affairs was established, succeeding the Veterans Administration.

The Veterans Health Administration and Veterans Benefits Administration are two main divisions of the Department of Veterans Affairs. So refering to the "Veterans Administration" is not really much of a "gaffe" since most of the program cuts being discussed are from one of the two VAs above.
MN55408 - Uptown, eh?
It may not be a gaffe, but it sure is not very clear. But I guess when you're as underqualified as she is you don't bother to know the difference.
