LIVE BLOGGING FROM DFL CANDIDATE FORUM #12
I have had the opportunity to meet Eric Mitchell at two recent events. Eric came to my coming out party and he was at the forum with his candidate, Becky Lourey. Both times I have spoken with Eric he has been very cordial and a good sport.
Thanks to a tip from Eric, Jackie Stevenson of the DFL Feminist Caucus thanked everyone for attending and then she announced to the entire room that Mark Drake (MN GOP communications director) and I were in the audience. It was hilarious!
Kelly Doran came up to me and gave me his card and said I should call him if I ever need information about the campaign. It was a classy move.
It makes my job easier when Democrats are jerks to me, but Kelly Doran, Jackie Stevenson, Eric Mitchell, and Becky Lourey were very nice to both me and Mark.

Jackie (who is one of Minnesota's representatives to the DNC) is a class act of a woman, and her treatment of you just goes to show her surplus of charecter, and that not all Democrats are life-less blood sucking demons.
No pun about the vampire guy intended.
