MDE EXCLUSIVE: JUHNKE'S CAMPAIGN AGAINST ENTENZA CONTINUES
I previously posted an email string from Representative Al Juhnke and other members of the DFL House Caucus expressing concern about Entenza's ability to serve as House Minority Leader and run for attorney general.
Now Juhnke is sending an article from today's City Pages about Matt Entenza to DFLers statewide.
As my source wrote, the article is very critical of Matt Entenza. It would appear that Juhnke is trying to build statewide support amongst DFLers for Entenza to be removed as caucus leader.

United He Stands
In the past seven years the Minnesota attorney general's office has earned a rep as one of the country's toughest HMO watchdogs. So does it matter that Matt Entenza, the DFL's heir apparent to the job, is married to one of the most powerful executives in the medical industry, United Health's Lois Quam?
by Britt Robson
When Matt Entenza stood outside his St. Paul home on the morning of October 26 and declared that he meant to be the next attorney general of Minnesota, no one should have been surprised. As far back as 2001, Entenza, the current minority leader in the Minnesota House of Representatives, had formed his own campaign committee as a means of stamping himself as the DFL's heir apparent to Attorney General Mike Hatch, should Hatch have opted to run for governor in 2002. That fledgling committee was disbanded shortly after Hatch chose to stay put and run for a second term as AG, but four years later - and just two days after Hatch had announced that he would challenge Gov. Tim Pawlenty in 2006 - Entenza strode to the microphones as his party's presumptive nominee to succeed Hatch.

Juhnke sends articles about House members statewide all the time, no matter where they are from or who they are about. The City Pages article was a big article, and Juhnke really is a news junkie, so this isn't something he's going to miss.
FYI...For a number of years, Rep. Juhnke has mailed out news articles to folks not only at the capitol but statewide. He sends out something called the outstate news (I know because I am on a use net that gets this stuff) which is articles from around the state. He also sends out articles, taxpayers' league updates, GOP Newsline, and many other things. The article I also received from him today was from the Pioneer Press describing the Marko story.
So, while you may think this was something unique, you are as usual, uninformed.
