TROUBLE FOR THE DFL: MN GOP NAMES BEN GOLNIK EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ben Golnik
This is great news for the GOP and bad news for the DFL. ##
St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today announced that Ben Golnik will serve as Executive Director.
"I am very pleased to have Ben Golnik on board as the Executive Director of our Party. Ben brings a wealth of experience and boundless energy to his new position. I know he will be a great asset as our Party's Executive Director," Carey said.
Since April 2005, Golnik has been Political Director for the Republican Party of Minnesota. Long active in state and national politics, Golnik has worked as a legislative aide to US Senator Mike Crapo, served as Executive Director for the Vermont Republican Party, and been campaign manager for Congressional candidate Brian Hamel in Maine's Second District.

I'll have to write Golnick and congratulate him.
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't really see this as trouble.
He was ED in the Republican hotbed of... Vermont? He was a campaign manager of a candidate who did awfully poorly in a congressional district in Maine.
And say all you'd like, but he's still serving under Ron Carey (the guy who couldn't even get a Republican on the ballot in a special election!) and kid who stole money from little old ladies.
Democrats state wide quake in their boots.
