I was just publicly thanked for being at today's debate. Once again, the Democrats are being very polite.

Blois Olson is moderating the debate and he made a few jokes about me being in the room. He's a funny guy.

When discussing health care issues, Becky Lourey always says she provided health care benefits for all of her employees. But does she provide health care benefits for her campaign employees?

Hatch better have a good excuse for missing today's debate.

I couldn't tell from the picture, but was there a different colored sky over Lourey's head? Surely she lives in a world where the color of the sky is different because she's surely not living in the same world the rest of us are.
So which of your Weber-Johnson p.r. clients is being billed for your attendance at the DFL candidates forum? Tim Pawlenty? Norm Coleman? John Kline?
Nobody. While some people chose to spend their vacation time going on trips, I will use some of mine to blog.
"When discussing health care issues, Becky Lourey always says she provided health care benefits for all of her employees. But does she provide health care benefits for her campaign employees?"
She does, don't worry.
She does, don't worry.
Will she provide evidence of this?
I believe that Becky is correct. Most Minnesotans would trade higher taxes for a higher quality of life. Also, the "John Jordan" who commented earlier obviously wishes he were me. Thank you.
Hello. I am also named John Jordan. I am the more attractive one.
All one has to do with DFL'ers is question them and they have to get personal. It happens almost every time.
Nevertheless, my statement stands. Take a legitimate poll asking "Would you like your taxes raised?" and you know the answer would be 80-20 against. Even regular folks who aren't wacko activists like this other idiot wouldn't vote "yes" in such a poll.
Perhaps this other person sees the same sky color as Lourey.
I would like my taxes raised if it will bring the quality of services to at least the level that I received growing up in MN. Class sizes are rising, the cost of operating schools go up, yet state funding has been flat for years. Failing to keep up with inflation is a CUT. My kids are in elementary school, to be competitive in the global marketplace, at a minimum they will need the same education or better than was offered to my generation. This shortsighted funding scheme is a disgrace no matter what political label you choose to call yourself. Raise my taxes, please! Even better, collect taxes from MN companies that shelter their profits offshore. Even better still, raise taxes on the wealthy. They can afford it more than I can and they don't create jobs with tax cuts, At least not jobs located in the USA.
That's because 80% of people are idiots. They don't know why they're taxed of where those taxes go.
The sky is green.
