MN GOP RESPONDS TO BECKY LOUREY'S IMMIGRATION REMARKS
St. Paul - Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding Becky Lourey's immigration proposal last night.
"Becky Lourey's misleading scare tactics on immigration demonstrate a troubling lack of concern for this serious problem. Becky Lourey's cavalier attitude toward illegal immigration is symptomatic of all the DFL gubernatorial candidates.
"In November, there will be a clear choice: a strong governor who takes illegal immigration seriously and a DFL candidate who refuses to discuss the merits of Governor Pawlenty's immigration proposals."
