MN GOP RESPONDS TO DFL EFFORTS TO SILENCE VETERANS' TV AD
St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding the DFL's attempts to silence a group of veterans supportive of President's Bush policies on the War on Terror.
"It is disappointing to see the DFL seek to silence veterans who support the President in the War on Terror.
"While the President and Republicans in Congress are working to win the War on Terror, the DFL's political sideshows do nothing to protect our country from future terrorist attacks.
"Regardless of one's politics, those who have worn the uniform deserve to have their voices heard in the public square."
