MNGOP REACTS TO STATE BUDGET SURPLUS
St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding the release of today's state economic forecast.
"Today's strong forecast is fantastic news for Minnesota. With Governor Pawlenty leading the way through accountability, our state's forecast now shows an increased surplus of $181 million. This $181 million comes on the heels of the $1.04 billion surplus announced last November.
"The DFL spin machine can't change the fact that Minnesota is on the right track under Governor Pawlenty."
