AMY KLOBUCHAR PULLS AD FROM HATE WEBSITE
(St. Paul, Minnesota) - Yesterday, Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar was again advertising on the extremist blog Daily Kos. The ad on Daily Kos lead directly to her campaign website where visitors were then asked to sign-up. Today, that ad has mysteriously disappeared.
"The fact that Amy Klobuchar would advertise on a website as openly hate-filled as Daily Kos raises serious concerns about the type of people she is reaching out to for support," said Heidi Frederickson, press secretary for Mark Kennedy '06. "Kos has compared President Bush to Osama Bin Laden and has vocally called for the defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman, Al Gore's running mate in 2000, because he isn't liberal enough."
The removal of Klobuchar's ad from Daily Kos raises several questions. Did Ms. Klobuchar pull her ad due to pressure after yesterday's release from the National Republican Senatorial Committee? Was Ms. Klobuchar's ad simply on rotation and that is why it isn't up today? Taking money from those associated with Daily Kos would seem to be consistent with taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from trial lawyers and the ultra-liberal EMILY's list.
Daily Kos has posted a poll asking, "Who do you despise more George Bush or Osama Bin Laden?" (Daily Kos; <http://www.dailykos.com/poll/1137742415_nANToluZ>; Accessed March 9, 2006)
Kos has also gone personally after Senator Joe Lieberman for his support of the war in Iraq and called for him to be defeated. A poll asks, "Would you support a Democratic primary challenge to Joe Lieberman?" 71% of respondents said, "Yes, he is a cancer on our party." (Daily Kos; <http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/12/12/222644/53>; Accessed March 9, 2006)
"Daily Kos is, without question, the liberal fringe of the Democrat party," added Frederickson. "Ms. Klobuchar may not be telling Minnesotans where she stands on many key issues but her advertising and catering to the Daily Kos crowd speaks volumes." Source: Mark Kennedy for Congress

The problem is with Mark Kennedy, you've got a Senate candidate who thinks the marriage amendment is of higher priority than defending the country. The question is whether Mark Kennedy spoke at the 2004 Bachmann amendment rally at the capitol - the rally where protestors carried signs like "Death Penalty for Homosexuals". Would you know the answer to that one Michael?
Speaking of Mark Kennedy, is he paying the Kennedy v Machine bloggers?
Yup, thats a good question Eva..but what your fans are REALLY wondering is if you were involved in this wacky incident:

Curious...did you hold the boy down while he was attacked? And further, were you holding a sign while you did?
This blog is no more or less hate filled than daily kos. You're just being hypocritical.

What are you trying to imply? Talk about hate. Your comments are completely inappropriate.
In any case, pluge is right. The GOP certainly uses messages of hate to get their finge base to go to the polls.
*Sigh*
No, Mark Kennedy isn't paying the KvM bloggers: Something we have stated repeatedly, not that it stops Eva and others from pretending they're onto a deep secret here. The shocking truth is that Kennedy has plenty of support on the right, and plenty of bloggers voluntarily supporting his candidacy.
Kos fights back.

What Kos said about President Bush and Senator Lieberman really pales in comparison to his reaction to American contractors being killed and having their bodies mutilated in Iraq. He called them "mercenaries" and said "screw them."

Ever see hate like that on MDE, plunge? I certainly haven't.
