FORMER DFL PARTY CHAIR WILL ABIDE BY ENDORSEMENT "IF THE PROCESS IS FAIR"
Former DFL Party chair Mike Erlandson announced today he is running for Sabo's seat and said he will abide by the DFL endorsement only "if the process is fair."
"He [Mike Erlandson] said he will seek the endorsement at the May 7 convention and will abide by the selection 'if the process is fair,' although he didn't elaborate on what that meant." Source: Star Tribune, March 22, 2006
Is Erlandson concerned the DFL endorsement process is crooked?
I'm sure current DFL Party chair Brian Melendez (who was chair of the Minneapolis DFL before becoming Party chair) can't be happy about his predecessor questioning the fairness of the DFL endorsement process in the 5th Congressional District.
