I should disclose that when I was an employee of the Senate Republican Caucus, I worked with Senator Dean Johnson. I vividly remember the day he switched political parties and became a Democrat.

Riiiiight. And I'm sure you'll now be telling us about all the other people in the Republican party who can't be trusted and as habitual liars. No, wait, it's just Johnson: you'd never hurt the cause by being honest. He's the only one, and the fact that he switched parties is coicidental.
