"Senate Minority Leader Dean Johnson, R-Willmar, said Chmielewski is 'halfway there. Apology is a good thing - it's good for the soul, as we say in my business.' Johnson is a Lutheran minister. 'But I still think it would be appropriate for him to appear before the subcommittee on ethical conduct. Many of his colleagues who have faced lesser charges have appeared.'"
