LOCAL DFL "CHALLEGING THE ARCHAIC SYSTEM KNOWN AS THE STATE DFL"
"'We are challenging the archaic system known as the State DFL from the little county that could,' [Michael ]Meuers said Tuesday. The Beltrami DFL will claim that the state has no jurisdiction over delegation selection for congressional districts, only the state convention, and that the county is sending eight delegates as apportioned — six living in the 7th District and two in the 8th District." Both DFL Rep. Frank Moe and candidate for State Senate Mary Olson are going to be wearing albatrosses around their necks for how they lined up behind Meuers on this one...
Especially being that Frank Moe had a different sense of the propriety of the chair and the integrity of the process earlier during the challenge process.
