Molligator was (and I stress was) Pam McCrory, a Kelley campaign staffer. After I plugged the blog on MNCR, I was informed of this, and then contacted the Kelley folks to confirm. They had no idea McCrory had been blogging anonymously, but she confirmed it. She's since removed the post, and I've posted a retraction of my plug. Disappointing, but not a big deal.
MNCR says "not a big deal" (perhaps meaning the specific post in the narrowest context). But the behavior of Pam McCrory as a DFL official and candidate for higher DFL office (she has her sights on Co-Chair of the the 7th CD)? Pam entered names of ineligible persons on caucus attendee roster sheets. If they seated at the Beltrami Co. DFL convention when those snarky and unprofessional comments may have been made by a Lourey staffer, those specially seated delegates represented a much greater threat to the integrity of the party than unprofessional conduct...
So how important is the integrity of the caucusing/nomination process outstate?
Sweep it under the rug, quickly please, or people will wonder what tricks were used to get Frank Moe his nomination last time around, when the same personalities were involved.
