KEITH ELLISON AND CYNTHIA MCKINNEY
By Michael B. Brodkorb | May 15, 2006
Two dedicated readers of Minnesota Democrats Exposed noticed that Keith Ellison's campaign scrubbed its website of references to Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. The claim is Ellison's campaign removed the McKinney quote because they knew of the anti-Semitic leanings of McKinney.
While the quite was removed from Ellison's campaign website (before & after), McKinney's quote is still on Ellison's blog.
My memory was foggy about McKinney's anti-Semitic past, but it quickly cleared-up after reading these articles.

"Nation of Islam is not about anti-Semitism. It is about the economic viability of the black community," Source: The Boston Globe, May 18, 1994
"She [Cynthia McKinney] was the only member of the Georgia delegation to vote against the resolution condemning an anti-Semitic speech by Khalid Abdul Muhammad, an aide to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan." Source: The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, September 13, 1994
"Embarrassed by the 'anti-Semitic' remarks of her father, U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) announced Wednesday that state Rep. Billy McKinney has 'resigned' from her campaign. Last week, McKinney called his daughter's opponent, Republican John Mitnick, a 'racist Jew' during remarks at Ebenezer Baptist Church." Source: The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, October 17, 1996
"An aide to a Democratic congresswoman from Georgia resigned under fire last week after declaring that Jewish members of Congress have divided loyalties between America and Israel.
It was not, however, the first time the aide had aired such views. Before signing on with Rep. Cynthia McKinney of Atlanta in September, Raeed Tayeh worked for two organizations that reportedly are linked to the Islamic terrorist group Hamas." Source: Ethnic NewsWatch, December 7, 2001
"U.S. Jewish leaders are incensed over comments from a congresswoman who sought to tie last month's terror attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon to American support for Israel.
Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) wrote to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, shortly after his 10 million donation to help New York City recover from the Sept. 11 terror attacks was returned last week by New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani objected to the prince's comment that the terrorist attacks should cause America to 'adopt a more balanced stance toward the Palestinian cause.'
In a letter to the prince, McKinney said she agreed with other politicians that the U.S.-Israel relationship was one of the motives for the attack, and believes it should cause the U.S. to re-examine its support for Israel." Source: Ethnic NewsWatch – Jewish Telegraphic Agency, October 17, 2001
"The already fiery election campaign between Rep. Cynthia McKinney and Denise Majette is likely to get more heated: Louis Farrakhan is coming to town.
The controversial Nation of Islam leader has scheduled a 6 p.m. rally Saturday in DeKalb County to urge support for McKinney, who is in the tightest race in her 10 years in the U.S. House." Source: Cox News Service, August 15, 2002

Props to Joe for uncovering this.
We should start an informal pool to guess how long it will take the Ellison campaign to undo this blunder.
My guess is that this webpage will either be returned to it’s original state or removed from the site entirely by noon on May 16th.
They are accomplishing nothing but raising unnecessary doubts about their candor by leaving it like this.

Meanwhile on The Republican side Alan Fine admits he is another Sue Jeffers who likes to intentially run in the wrong party, but unlike Jeffers Fine had no loyalty to the party he tried to run for US Senate in 2002 with.

Interesting. I read these quotes attributed to Cynthia McKinney. Not only did I not find them remotely “ANTI-SEMITIC” – I found them to be the observable truth.
