MDE FROM THE ARCHIVES: ELLISON’S EXTREMISMS #2
By Michael B. Brodkorb | May 18, 2006
Keith Ellison is running for Congress. When a person is sworn in as a Congressman, one of the first things they do is swear to uphold the United States Constitution. In the Farrakhan op/ed, he refers on a number of occassions to the US Constitution as " Their Constitution" He needs to answer a couple very simple questions. "Does he consider the United States Constitution to be his constitution?" "Will he swear to uphold the United States Constitution as a Congressman?"

I hope this is a joke.
I used to expect much better of you Michael then this low-ball “six-degrees of seperation” exposing that you have been up to lately.
I once felt informed after reading your site. But this is just ridiculous.

Well folks. He has finally done it. Michael Brodkorb has officially Jumped the shark
There was a time when this site would uncover news, and add something to the greater political discourse. Now, it is becoming abundantly clear (and sad) that he has given up the final remaining shreds of credibility he once held, and now he is just a Ron Carey press release that arrives a day late.
You had a good ride, Michael. But on behalf of whatever credibility you ever had, do us all a favor and kill this site before it becomes even more of a joke for democrats and republicans alike.

I think I can guesse the context he used that term in. I look forward to you revealing the context in which he spoke those words.
Come on this guy is so dead wrong on the issues, and your stuck on this? I understand there is no Republican candidate in the race, but come on challange Ellison on the real issues.

Keith Ellison once said the capitol was a building made to keep “us” out. The “us” “them” mentality pervades his whole thinking.

By us did he mean people on the internet?

Dude …. Look into this. This obsession with Ellison is getting creepy.

Welcome to Minnesota Democrats Exposed. Here, they expose Democrats. If you think they expose too much Democrats…again, here they expose Democrats. Someone who is a Democrat is liable to be exposed here. It is not OCD and yes, if someone’s belief is that blacks should all congregate to the south, that is a fringe view and will be exposed.
Exposing Democrats is what they do. Get it through your head.

OCD Ossified Cantankerous Democrats? Maybe KeepDigging or DFLer22 need OCD treatment but not Michael
Personally for Democrats obsessed with MDE I’d prescribe http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/internet/05/19/internet.addiction.reut/index.html
Look the constitution remarks of Ellison’s influence are the most damning evidence against Keith so far. Any muslim who wants be the first ever in congress is going to have to be better than this. Is it the case he rebelled at one time from Farrakhan? If so when?

I think it’s humorous to watch the Ellison lovers having to rip MDE from every angle just to protect their guy. They can’t counter the fact that Ellison’s about the most extreme whackjob that’s ever been endorsed by the DFL.

What about the people that actually hate DFL policy and are trying to do something about it, that are pissed off that Michael is giving Ellison a free ride on the issues simply because the Republicans do not have a candidate in the race.

Oooo …. looks like I hit a nerve with the OCD comment!

He already has, Michael or he would not be allowed to serve as a state rep:
ARTICLE IV Mn Constitution:
Sec. 8. OATH OF OFFICE. Each member and officer of the legislature before entering upon his duties shall take an oath or affirmation to support the Constitution of the United States, the constitution of this state, and to discharge faithfully the duties of his office to the best of his judgment and ability.
