Hi,

I’m the editor who wrote the counterpoint for Keith. First, like you’ve already found out, Ellison and Hakim are the same. Second, his articles — while extreme — are nothing compared to how he was in person. Keith Hakim/Ellison WAS an awful person 20 years ago. Can’t say I know much about him now: people do grow up. Still, if he harbors 1/100th as much hate as he did back then Minnesota is poised to send your very own David Duke to Washington.

So, then you are arguning that a third year law student who happens to share a first name with a congressional candidate was in the process of negotiating repirations payments for black America from white America?

That is what he was doing?

He was involved in the actual process of negotiating the terms? Through a college newspaper?

Because if he wasn’t ACTUALLY involved in negotiations with anyone, then I think it wouuld be fair to say that he was writing hypothetically about repirations.

I only read the first article. But there is no question that Hakim was not posing a hypothetical. He was staking out an extreme position from which he might be willing to negotiate down, no question though, that he prefers a somekind of autonomous black state. At least he did 16 years ago.

This is probably Minnesota’s first foray into Cynthia McKinney Territory

Yes. Keith was seriously calling for all the profits made by ELVIS PRESSLEY to be returned to the black man.

I think it is great that Michael has created a new username to defend himself, but come on. Anyone with a brain who reads those articles gets the point.

How much y’all want to bet that the IP addresses of Ryan Ore and Michael Brodkorb would match, if Michael were not the type who only reports IP addresses of people he is hoping to silence?

That first article was frightening. Nothing hypothetical about it. He was arguing for segregation and separate but equal. Oh. My. Goodness. What’s more frightening is that people actually agree with him.

Michael-

Did you actually read either of the articles? The first one threw out a hypothetical about the actual cost of repirations, and the second was defending inaccuracies writeen in a previous issue.

I don’t know who this “editor” was who called these a threat to the saftey of the Jewish people, but I am assuming it was someone like you whose comprehension of issues is terribly stunted, and who sees past writings as no more than potential weapons that, if twisted around enough, can be used against the author.

For a while I was actually worried that Keith may have said something stupid in these articles you have been yammering so much about. But now that I have read them, I am more convinced then ever that not only will Keith Ellison be a great member of Congress, but that you are so hellbent on trying to stop him, you won’t let the truth get in the way of your campaign.

This site is truly sad, and you owe it to anyone who ever respected you to pull the plug before you give away the final bits of your credibility.

I cannot believe that Minnesota is likely to elect someone who holds these twisted, anti-intellectual and anti-Semitic beliefs. Mr. Hakim either has some explaining to do, or he has some justifying to do. Does he now reject this garbage, or does he have a good reason for holding these beliefs? Either way, he needs to answer some questions.

This seems on par with the Minnesota GOP endorsing David Duke (seriously, stop with the predictable and clichÃ© “you already endorsed ‘INSERT CANDIDATE NAME HERE’” because it is already a tired response before you even start to type it).

I think I may comment more tomorrow. I need to get my arms around this because it is so outrageous.
