    Two things –
    1) Please update your links to MNCR.
    2) You forgot the third option: “Am I really reaching for something to post today?”

    How about a new poll?

Does anyone believe this is an issue OTHER than Michael Brodkorb?

I bet the results will surprise no one but Michael.

    Brodkorb is a liar.

A local Jewish-community paper editorializes on Keith Ellison. In part,
    the
editorial (which is not online) says:

… There has been some premature grumbling in the Jewish community …
    over
Ellison’s role as an organizer for the 1995 Million Man March, the
    gathering
in Washington, D.C., organized by Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam
leader known for his vitriolic anti-Semitic and anti-gay statements.

Ahead of the September primary, and as rumors fly around the Jewish
community, we note that Ellison, in fact, is not a member of the nation
    of
Islam and he has explicitly renounced the homophobic and anti-Semitic
    rants
    of Farrakhan.

A convert to Islam, Ellison belongs to the Masjid AnNur mosque in north
Minneapolis. The mosque’s spiritual leader, Imam Makram El-Amin, is
    known as
a person who has built bridges to the Jewish community and to other
    religious communities.

El-Amin “has been very collaborative in his relationships with other
faiths,” said Rep. Frank Hornstein, DFL-Minneapolis, a Jewish
    legislator who
has sat at a desk next to Ellison on the House floor for the past four
years. “As a matter of fact, [El-Amin] came to Temple Israel a couple
    years
ago as a guest at our annual Yom Kippur study session on intergroup
relations and improving relationships between Muslim and Jews, etc.”

Hornstein, a friend and backer of Ellison, told the AJW that the
    legislator
“belongs to a strain of Islam that is moderate and tolerant and
collaborative.” Further, according to Hornstein, Ellison is a supporter
    of
the state of Israel” and understands the issues around anti-Semitism.”

The American Jewish World is not making an early endorsement of Rep.
    Ellison
for the 5th District seat in Congress. We do, however, want to make it
    clear
to our readers that there is a word for those – Jews and non- Jews –
    who
reject Keith Ellison as a political candidate because he is a Muslim.
    The
    word is “bigot.” …

The link to the MNCR website is correct…there is no website that is currently working for the Minnesota College Republicans.

My apologies. Somehow I knew the congruence of my acronym with that of the Minnesota College Republicans would come back to bite me. However, I was referring to my recent switch from http://mncr.blogspot.com to http://www.mncampaignreport.com

    Thank you for your understanding.

I was present when Keith Ellison was given the last name ‘Muhammad’ by Farrakhan. Keith is a Registered member of the Nation of Islam.
