MN GOP UNVEILS REPUBLICANSLOVEROCHESTER.COM

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 8, 2006

St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today announced a new website, http://www.RepublicansLoveRochester.Com/ , to highlight GOP accomplishments for Southeastern Minnesota.

"While our friends in the DFL will be throwing a lot of mud during their convention, Republicans will continue to highlight our accomplishments for Southeastern Minnesota in the areas of bioscience, transportation and higher education," Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey said.

In addition to spotlighting GOP accomplishments for Southeastern Minnesota, the new website will also feature a poll asking visitors to choose which DFLer will launch the most negative personal attack on a Republican over the course of the DFL State Convention.

"I hope Republicans and Democrats will check out this website and see for themselves what Republican leadership has meant for Rochester and all of Southeastern Minnesota," Carey concluded.

I have read this blog and blogs from the left for a long time now.

What made me decide to finally start posting was the silly pandering that is offered by both sides.

MDE, you’re a piece of work. You post a press statement from Chairman Carey that says that Dems will be mud throwing at their convention this weekend in Rochester.

No duh. Did you post the mud-throwing that Repubs did last weekend? Or was it simply the best speeches you had ever heard?

    mntruthseeker says…ah, no.

I will begin commenting on both Dem and Repub blogs.

I look forward to commenting on your future posts.

a poll asking visitors to choose which DFLer will launch the most negative personal attack on a Republican over the course of the DFL State Convention.

Um, sure. We’ll poll visitors on who they think is the most negative party so we can use those negative comments against Democrats in a negative ad. Why am I not surprised at this hypocrisy?

Oh, and if there’s any question as to who went negative first, let’s remember these kind words from the governor of all Minnesotans LAST week:

“The “worst nightmare” of Republicans should be “big spendin’, tax raisin’, abortion promotin’, gay-marriage-embracin’, more welfare-without-accountability lovin’ … DFL candidates for governor who think Hillary Clinton should be president.”

Regarding Pawlenty’s words, which of those is untrue?
