STAR TRIBUNE: “ELLISON TELLS SYNAGOGUE HE’S GOING ‘FACE TO FACE’ WITH PAST”
By Michael Brodkorb | June 12, 2006
"State Rep. Keith Ellison took his campaign for Congress to the Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park on Sunday and sought to allay concerns about his past ties to an organization led by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who is known for his anti-Semitic oratory.
Last month, Ellison won the DFL congressional endorsement in the Fifth District, which includes Minneapolis and St. Louis Park, but he has since faced sharp criticism in some quarters for past links to Farrakhan's organization. Ellison has countered by saying he's made some mistakes.
'I wasn't proud of my work with the Nation of Islam,' Ellison said Sunday, 'but I was hoping it wouldn't come up.' He said now that he's in the spotlight, 'I have come face to face with my past.'" Source: Star Tribune, June 12, 2006

Oh. You got him. Keith Ellison has made a mistake. I guess since he is now disqualified, it is time to find a new perfect human for that race. Watch me be shocked when MDE starts talking about how great Mike Erlandson would be. Afterall, if it weren’t for Mike Erlandson, MDE never would have known about any of this Ellison stuff.
