DUTCHER DIDN’T NOMINATE HATCH

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 15, 2006

I was at the DFL convention and Judi Dutcher did not nominate Mike Hatch.

##

"The almost universally hoped-for pick for Attorney General Mike Hatch’s Lt. Governor choice is former State Auditor Judi Dutcher.  The nomination of Hatch by Dutcher on Saturday gave people an opportunity to see the two on the same stage." Source: Checks and Balances, June 15, 2006

Checks and Balances says, “She has a sharp wit and is deft art of turning away political barbs with a smile.”

Tell that to Tony Sutton, whom Dutcher threw a big snit at in order to have an excuse to leave the GOP for her failed bid at the DFL endorsement for Governor in 2002.

    Hey pot. Meet kettle.

I would hope no one is surprised that Checks and Balances has reported incorrect information. Spinning and opinions are an integral part of most blogs. However, the false information that is often found in the “reporting” of Checks and Balances serves none of us well.

You are right, Dutcher didn’t nominate Hatch. It is worth noting, however, that she did speak at the Hatch rally that morning and was stumping for Hatch all over the convention.

Michael, I was hoping you would mention that you got to meet the Demrock6 at the convention. I, was honestly honered to meet you. Yes, I still love the blog!

Anyway, as a DFLer I am not to concerned with whom Hatch picks. He has a good head on his shoulders, and will make a good pic I’m sure.

Everyone thought it would be Lourey, but what if it was Kelley? W00t!

Close enough for a nomination, right Zack !
Honestly, it may not be that big of a deal but
how come statements like “Shawn didn’t really lie,
this is what he really meant” or ” It isn’t a lie
(INSERT THE NAME of a DFL POLITICIAN) just
changed their view, Haven’t you ever done that ?
OR the Grand daddy ( I mean PARENT) of them all
“It depends on what the meaning of IS, IS.”
Why are Democrats constantly POWER SANDING the
    truth !

The preceeding post was sponsored by the party which brought us MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

As I’ve said before to you Roving (STRIB) Reporter, DFL partisans like you never will admit
that your buddies ; Clinton,Kerry,Hatch and Entenza ever do anything wrong !

  9. Roving Reporter Says:

Sure I will. Just today, Colin Peterson made the wrong vote on the resolution to embrace the quagmire in Iraq.

Hey Roving Reporter Our MISSION was ACCOMPLISHED Your man Murtha affirmed it once again just this morning on MSNNC’s MTP. We have accommplished everything we can militarily. It’s as true today as it was May 1 2003. Why deny the military it’s victory? The sign was not a white house sign therefore the meaning of the word mission was not the political mission but the military mission which was indeed accomplished.
