By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 15, 2006
"Peter Hutchinson, Becky Lourey, Mike Hatch, and Ken Pentel all support higher taxes and bigger government. For Minnesotans who want to continue the policies of lower taxes and accountable government that have given us the red hot economy we have today, Governor Pawlenty is the clear choice." – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey

Ron Carey didn’t dig deep enough:
Dear Chairman Carey,
We see you and your Democrat counterpart talking too fast in the media each day; ripping, and shredding each other all at the expense of Minnesota. Your recent connect the dots comment on contributions to John Kerry (and reaching back to Bill Clinton) were absurd. It is a product of two political parties (yes, you are just like the democrats in this crap) who believe the best way to govern Minnesota is to divide and conquer. Why don’t you stand for what you stand for once in a while instead of trying to fool people with shell games?
BTW- a couple reminders:
The late Elmer Anderson, one of our best governors and a Republican who centrists throughout Minnesota loved, gave money to John Kerry too! (check out your own weblink silly)
ANDERSON, ELMER
ARDEN HILLS,MN 55112 NOT EMPLOYED/RETIRED 6/4/2004 $2,000 Kerry, John
Arne Carlson, another one of Minnesota’s much loved centrist governors, was never endorsed by your party. He in fact received and accepted the endorsement of Minnesota’s fledging Independence Party.
Too bad you can’t fool people into voting for the lesser of two evils anymore!
