Funny. No mention of Patty Anderson losing three laptops full of personal information, or of Cynthia McKinney not being charged with anything, despite your best efforts to deamonize her, but this…this is news.

So, the people Coleen Rowley was critical of are now critical of her?
I’m shocked!

Roving Reporter, you seem to forget the laptops were stolen, probably by a Democrat since they believe they are above the law and little things like punching a police officer and driving while under the influence are acceptable since they use their connections to get away with lawlessness.

Like usual, Rowley looked the other way and then played monday morning QB after the attacks.
I’m sure Kline is going to have an easy time during the election going against another Democrat “victim”

Roving Reporter – I thought your party was the party of unions. The Capitol Police Union stands behind the fact that one of their officers was hit by McKinney. If you don’t think she should be demonized and rebuked for that, you’re drinking the kool aid over at the Daily Ko(ok)s.

I’m not saying I think Coleen is a fantastic candidate, but I think this sort of plays into her hand – of COURSE the government is going to be critical of everything she says about them. That’s her whole point, that she was shut up by her superiors when she had something important to say. Not what I would call a kill stroke.

Colleen Rowley’s actions in the FBI are right along with the demands of House and Senate Democrats that we give full privacy rights to terrorists. There isn’t much of a difference between being opposed to NSA wire taps for al qaeda operatives around the world and being against searching Moussaoui’s computer and personal effects. Rowley sat in the ditch with Cindy Sheehan and is apparently in favor of the al qaeda civil rights act.

By the way, the Inspector General’s Office is independent of Rowley’s supervisors as well as the highest officials in the Justice Department. To say that we should not be surprised that Rowley was criticized by those who was criticized by her is a feeble attempt at spin.

Rowely said we should have:
-Confiscated his computer
-Searched it’s contents even though we had no idea if he was up to anything bad
-Tried to see who he was in contact with and go after them through association
-Basically suspend this Muslim’s civil rights
Is this who the Dems support? (for the record, I support the above activities)

According to the Justice Inspector General, she didn’t do anything to further what she said. She should have asked for a search warrant instead of recommending a FISA action.

If she would have known then what she knows now, she could have executed him and hid the body in Cuba, and no one would be any the wiser. Because, as I always say, as long as they aren’t taking MY civil rights, I don’t care who loses theirs.

I love the silly retorts you always make Roving
“STRIB” Reporter, when guys like Chris and Dave
have reasoned, cogent, responses to one of your
looney, left wing and decidedly AMORAL screeds !
KEEP UP YOUR LOW STRIB STANDARDS!

She was one of the only ones advocating to do something. This was squashed by her superiors. End of story.
Now you’re saying that she didn’t do enough (or the report is saying that).
Shouldn’t it be the superiors who didnt do enough?

Newsflash: Roving Reporter (and his Democrat allies) call for civil rights for al qaeda terrorists. I hope you run on that platform this November, buddy.
June 20th, 2006 at 12:54 pm
You are dead on. I do agree that our prisioners, be they terrorists in the Middle East or carjackers from Anoka, deserve the SAME rights. Republicans seem to think that we can suspend the rights and torture political prisioners and it will have no impact on the level of hatred directed at us.
America can lead by example, or we can lead with the military. One is sustainable, and I will give you a hint, it ain’t your plan.

Hey DJZ, if you read the report or ANY of the accompanying stories, you will find that Rowley actually sided with her “superiors” in Washington D.C. against going for a criminal warrant. The only person advocating that path was the agent who Rowley sided against. You DFL’ers can try to spin this whatever way you want, but the bottom line is that the one thing Rowley was famous for has been completely mis-represented and mis-reported for the past 4+ years.

Wow Frank. She’s been able to fool the entire country? Sounds like the perfect skills to win in the 2nd CD. Should be a breeze for her.
dumbass.
