MN GOP: LOBBYING HYPOCRISY UNDERSCORES KLOBUCHAR’S GROWING CREDIBILITY PROBLEM
By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 22, 2006
St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following regarding Amy Klobuchar’s lobbying hypocrisy.
"With her twelve year career as a corporate lobbyist now firmly established, Amy Klobuchar's attempts to portray herself as a straight-talking candidate of change are destroyed.
"Amy Klobuchar has said she can't hide behind rhetoric, but she is now. The defensive and flailing attacks by the Klobuchar campaign against Mark Kennedy are typical of a campaign with a growing credibility problem."

Sometimes when Michael attempts to gloss over the facts in favor of cheap points, we don’t even bother.
Like, when in this story he neglected to mention this very important sentence:
“Nearly 75 percent of Kennedy’s PAC contributions came from business groups, compared with about 10 percent of Klobuchar’s.”
I mean, there is little use in arguing about half of a story while ignoring the other half. The problem with Mark Kennedy is that he is not smart enough to have independent positions on the issues, and everything he throws at Amy tends to backfire exposing an even more galring weakness for the Congressman.

We all know how evil “business groups” are.

Ole Klobby has been a total failure as the County Attorney. How the heck did she get the DFL bid to run for Senate anyway? Oh yeah, I forgot, the DFL is the washed-up loser party.
