ANOTHER BAD PRESS DAY FOR ELLISON #2

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 30, 2006

Power Line has another outstanding post on Keith Ellison which highlights comments from today's Chicago Tribune.

I felt good reading this part of the story:

"Minneapolis-area blogs have dug up past statements by Ellison, such as his defense in 2000 of Symbionese Liberation Army member Kathleen Soliah, who later pleaded guilty to murder. All of this has put the candidate on the defensive." Source: Chicago Tribune, June 30, 2006.

You know what this reminds me of?

The schizophrenic dude who used to hang around Coffman Union. He used to pay for classified ads in the MN Daily talking about he was “The Great One” and then use clippings of those ads to prove he was “The Great One”.

Just because you repeat it over and over doesn’t change that the future Congressman has already addressed the issue, rejected the ideologies and in fact has significant and strong support in the communuities you are so obsessively trying to drive wedge between them on.

Yeah. This will be disasterous for the voter turnout in Chicago. Oh wait! He’s running for congress in Minnesota.

Hey WaffleTushie and Roving Reporter, do you get it? What MDE and Ron Carey are saying is extreme, nasty, and twists facts into some weird fascimile of Gumby, but guess what, they’re kicking the DFL’s ass.

That’s the strategy, duh. Repeat it enough times until it gets picked up by the MSM and appears true. And it becomes truth to average, casual Joe Voter. Ever hear of the Right Wing Echo Chamber, The Right Wing Noise machine? We’re in it right now.

Hatch & Klobuchar have been leading in the polls forever, yet these bozos are the ones getting their questions and venom picked up in the national press.

Hmmm…let’s see: Roll Call, the Star Tribune, and the Chicago Tribune have run stories on Ellison’s association with the Nation of Islam and racist statements.

Yep, MDE and Powerline are really getting taken to the woodshed.

The Star Tribune is a right wing echo chamber?

    Who knew?

Mark Kennedy worked as a CPA for Arthur Anderson. His campaign manager was a lobbyist for Enron. If you want to question the past of any candidates, I suggest you look in your own back yard.
