MN GOP: STATEWIDE REPUBLICAN TEAM OFFICIALLY FILES FOR OFFICE

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 7, 2006

GOP Stands Together For Lower Taxes, Spending Restraint, Real Border Control And Government Accountability

St. Paul – Republican statewide candidates filed for office together with a unified voice as they campaign with a positive vision for Minnesota.

"The people of Minnesota want tax and spending restraint, real control of our borders and a tough stance on crime.  Our ticket is strong, unified and focused on fighting for the people of Minnesota on these issues," Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey said.

"Governor Pawlenty and Lt. Governor Molnau are a team with a record of reform and success when it comes to serious spending restraint, lower taxes, tough enforcement of immigration laws and real accountability in government.

"Mark Kennedy has exactly what we need in Washington: a business approach and common sense solutions.  With his unique experience as a CPA, he will work to help the Senate find ways to cut wasteful spending.

"Jeff Johnson will be an Attorney General who will protect our kids from threats like meth and sex offenders, and not just use the office as a stepping stone.

"Pat Anderson has been an effective watchdog for Minnesotans and she will continue to aggressively look out for the taxpayers as the state’s Auditor.

"Mary Kiffmeyer has proven herself to be a Secretary of State who conducts herself with integrity and runs her office with efficiency and openness."

This is a reminder that I am a part-time consultant to Mark Kennedy's U.S. Senate campaign. Minnesota Democrats Exposed is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or authorized by any political party, candidate, or candidate's committee. It's all me and always will be and I am very proud of Minnesota Democrats Exposed.

How did Mark Kennedy register without George Bush holding his hand?

It must have been traumatic for him.

Pawlenty? Spending restraint??? WHAT THE HECK!

That’s a crock, and you know it. Billion-dollar bonding bills, stadiums, you name it.

And now… NOW Pawlenty wants a free tuition program for “good students”….he says he’ll “find room” in the budget. My goodnes…

    Spending restraint, my foot.

I hope Sue Jeffers files soon and makes this Pawleny-beating party official.

Funny, how Pat Anderson spoke at the same convention where Sue was first endorsed….I’d place money down that she supports Sue. I personally know of a good handful of legislators that do, as well.

Pat will support Timmy. They go back almost 20 years when they were running GOP campaigns together. They also are tied to corrupt businessman and former partner Tim Commers.

All but Kiffmeyer were probably pissing their pants knowing that they won’t be back.

    Resistance is futile.
