MESABI DAILY NEWS: “ENTENZA MAY SERVE HIS PARTY BEST THIS ELECTION YEAR BY STEPPING ASIDE NOW”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 13, 2006
Another bad press day for Matt Entenza.
##
"It will be up to Entenza if this issue does dog the party from now until Nov. 7. It’s certainly his choice to continue on the ticket as the attorney general candidate. After all, he secured the party’s endorsement in June. And perhaps Melendez will be proven right and the issue will matter little if at all.
However, we find that doubtful. At this point, Entenza may serve his party best this election year by stepping aside now." Source: Mesabi Daily News, July 13, 2006

Mesabi Daily News is a very rational paper. Unlike the Duluth paper, they are independent thinkers from the liberal NE Minn establishment.
For example, when the Union guys ln the Range formed an alliance with the environmentalists this past spring, the Virginia paper pretty much said “what they hell are you guys thinking? The environmetalists would love to close the mines and end all logging in Minnesota.”

I bet that Bill McGuire and the other United Health Group Executives and attorneys are beside themselves right now.
This company is in the legal and public relations fight of its life and because Entenza can’t find it within himself to tell the truth, every passing day is worse and worse.
We have a guy who is supposed to be running for a job established to protect people. Whether it is consumers or kids and whether it is against bad business or violent thugs. Entenza simply doesn’t have the integrity to hold this office.
And everytime Entenza’s ethics are splashed throughout the paper, so are the “Enron-style†United Health Group issues. Side-by-side, hand-in-hand. It is almost as though they have become the same scandal.
Maybe it is time for Lois to tell her hubby to pack it in for the sake of their fortune and that of the company.
