WOMAN WHO WASN’T FAMILIAR WITH CURLY FRIES TO CAMPAIGN FOR WETTERLING

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 26, 2006

"'I had a hamburger last night and it was my breakfast, lunch and dinner,' she said last week. 'And I had these strange things. I realized they were French fries.' She made quick spiraling gestures with her fingers to show what they looked like.

It was apparent that she was not familiar with curly fries." Source: New York Times, May 30, 2006

##

"Nancy Pelosi, leader of the Democrats in the U.S. House, will come to Minneapolis for a Patty Wetterling fundraiser at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Minneapolis Club, according to Wetterling campaign manager Corey Day.

Child safety advocate Wetterling is the DFL endorsee for the open seat from the north metro Sixth Congressional District. Sen. Michele Bachmann of Stillwater is the Republican endorsee, and John Binkowski, of St. Mary's Point is the Independence Party endorsee." Source: Star Tribune, July 28, 2006

Ahh, the marketplace of ideas, where collegial arguments over the “best life” and how best to provide it for all our citizens are undertaken by thoughtful, well-spoken people.

    About french fries.

An idiot helping another, well isn’t that what we need more of in MN politics.

Maybe while Pelosi is in town she can tell us what the DFL post election plan is (if they did win).

My guess what will happen is she will… complain, bitch and cry about the evil from Bush/Cheney, Rove and all Republicans who just don’t play nice. While she rants, screams and flops around the stage she and the crowd will reach a climax together.

How often do you believe members of congress eat fast food?

This is like railing on a fast food worker of not knowing which is their fish fork.

The Roving Reporter does not believe that “members of congress eat fast food”.

Roving shoots from the hip but is not hip when he shoots.

I have worked for four members of Congress, of both parties. They were from upstate New York, the Upper Midwest, the Midwest and the South.

They eat plenty of fast food, particularly when they are on the road during the elections.

It goes to show that San Fran Nan is out of touch with what happens in real America, both Red and Blue.

Hey Roving “STRIB” Reporter, Your “men and women of the people” seem to have lots of trouble when
it comes to eating what we average americans eat!
Remember the John KERRY – Teresa HEINZ photo op
at the WENDY’S 2 years ago? Our famous war hero and his “Marie Antoinette” wife took a couple of
bites out of their burgers and then quickly adjourned to their super RV where they ate gourmet box lunches that they ordered from their
PRIVATE YACHT CLUB ! No wonder Pelosi and Wetterling are holding the fundraiser at the MINNEAPOLIS CLUB !! And what a TOTAL INSULT by
PELOSI to KEITH ELLISON !! YOU DFLers ARE A PARTY
    OF PHONIES!

    I gotta say, that’s a great headline.

What headlines can we write about Michele Bachmann?

“Treasonous Leaker of National Secrets and Notorious Bad Shot to Campaign for Bachmann”

“Another Treasonous Leaker of National Secrets and Runner of Extremely Dirty Campaigns to Campaign for Bachmann”

“Organization that Supports the Hunting of Endangered Animals Donates $2,000 to Bachmann”

“The ‘new Tom DeLay’ to Raise Money for Bachmann”

…the list goes on and on. Plus there’s the list of things she’s actually said herself: things like, “Drop nukes on Iran!” and “Abolish the minimum wage!” The headlines write themselves, but there’s no one in the media writing them.
