DFL-ENDORSED CANDIDATE MARK RITCHIE PROMOTED ON COMMUNIST PARTY USA WEBSITE
By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 28, 2006
DFL-endorsed candidate Mark Ritchie’s campaign for Secretary of State is discussed on Communist Party USA website:
“Many of our clubs are not in a swing Congressional District. But if they are connected to people and organizations where they are, it is possible to educate and excite about the chance to change control of Congress and perhaps organize a mobilization day or two into the swing CD. It could be an exciting outing and club recruiting tool. Bringing home that experience could even serve to inspire running a local candidate in the club concentration area in the future.
An increasingly important elective office is Secretary of State, whose job is mandated as protecting voting rights and election practices. It is fresh in our memories that in Florida and Ohio the Secretaries of State served as a blockage to voter protection in 2000 and 2004. In Minnesota the DFL candidate for Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, of the League of Rural Voters could play a valuable national role.” Source: Communist Party USA
Do we really want to elect someone Secretary of State whose candidacy is promoted in a Communist publication?

Ritchie appears to be what the COMMUNIST party
has always called such people: A USEFUL IDIOT !

Which would you rather have? A candidate who is supported by a broad spectrum of political forces, or a candidate who tries to rig elections in an effort to ensure power for the people she chooses?
Mary Kiffmeyer’s time has passed. If we wanted our elections rigged like the ones in Florida, I think we could simply choose to move there.

Or perhaps Ritchie’s writing for the People’s Weekly World has led to him actually being a communist! http://www.pww.org/article/archive/142/500

These right-wing wackos should pluck the fascist from their own eye before looking for traces of communism in the eye of another.

Brian,
Don’t lecture me about facism. You probably were one of the idiots holding up Free Palestine signs at the Seattle protest.

No, Chris, I didn’t go to Seattle.
But that begs the question, what exactly is fascism?
# A social and political ideology with the primary guiding principle that the state or nation is the highest priority, rather than personal or individual freedoms.
# a totalitarian political system led by a single dictator who allows no opposition, promoting an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
# A system of government that promotes extreme nationalism, repression, anticommunism, and is ruled by a dictator.
Hmmm…. I guess if the shoe fits…

Brian, I believe fascism would be trying to jail political opponents.
AKA = Mike Hatch’s false charges against Ron Eibensteiner
Ronnie Earle grand jury shopping in order to being charges against Ton DeLay for something that WASN’T ILLEGAL.
Barry Krischer’s political witch hunt against Rush Limbaugh. Remember this is the same Barry Krischer who gave Florida Democrat Mandy Dawson a free pass for forging prescription drugs.
All of these cases were Democrats attempting to jail political opponents.
So Brian, please tell me who is fascist? Maybe you should spend more time looking in the mirror and questioning the actions of your party.

So Ron Eibensteiner didn’t write a thank you note to a single donor out of thousands to the RNC? He just magically knew who to send it to and how the RNC spent 1/78,000 of their budget?
Ronnie Earle found a jury that thought funneling money raised for children into the pockets of politicians was wrong? That shouldn’t have taken long. Or was it the jury who thought using Homeland Security equipment and planes to track local democrats for a state legislative action was inappropriate?
Maybe it was a jury of his peers, like the ones in Congress who has punished him three times in his own hand picked ethics committee?
Rush Limbaugh was set up with an illegal amount of drugs, hhe was set up to admit on the air that he had a problem. He was also set up with the fake Viagra presecription too.
Anyone who can defend Tom Delay is just not operating on anythhing but blind loyalty to their leader. You’d do well in Congress today.
