WOW…AND I’M THE ONE GETTING SUED

By Michael Brodkorb | August 6, 2006

I just found this whopper written by Michael McIntee on Stronger DFL

"Last night I covered the DFL Feminist Caucus AG Candidates forum, as did Michael Brodkorb aka MDE of Minnesota Democrats Exposed. The forum focused on issues and policy. That was apparently not what Brodkorb wanted to hear and he left before the forum was over." Source: Stronger DFL

I wasn't at the DFL Feminst Caucus AG Candidates forum.  I didn't leave the forum early because I didn't attend.

Last Wednesday, I went home a tad early from work because I wasn't feeling well.  Later in the evening I was feeling better, so I mowed my lawn and walked up to a local restaurant with my wife to get something for dinner.

Michael McIntee and I both live in Eagan.  He is active in the SD 38 DFL and I am active in the SD 38 GOP.  McIntee certainly has a political agenda and I enjoy his spirit, but sometimes he goes overboard.

Before the election is over, I'm sure McIntee will blame me for the Lindberg Kidnapping.

“Before the election is over, I’m sure McIntee will blame me for the Lindberg Kidnapping.”

He can’t blame you for that, of course, because it’s George Bush’s fault.

Well, that is the problem with Republicans, frankly…. Apparently we all look alike.

“Before the election is over, I’m sure McIntee will blame me for the Lindberg Kidnapping.”

If John Kerry was President, that wouldn’t have happened.

He raises a valid point. Where were you on the evening of March 1, 1932?

More importantly, everyone knows that Republicans in Eagan have lawn boys to mow for them so your supposed alibi just doesn’t hold water.

Or did you send your lawn boy to the AG forum?

I think it was the lawn boy with the candle stick at the AG forum.

That’s just silly. Lindberg was a known Nazi. Why would you do that to a fellow soul mate?

  7. Dave of the VRWC Says:

“That’s just silly. Lindberg was a known Nazi.”

    He was a peace activist.

I’m suprised that this thread hasn’t been hijacked yet by questions about how you while you were attending this forum you were also doing covert work on behalf of John Kline.

  9. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 10:30 AM

P.J.: I’m sure McIntee will try and make that connection.

  10. Paul Bartlett Says:

Dave at VRWC, are you nuts? Lindbergh was an anti semetic, Hitler admirer. He backed and supported the Nazis until our entry in the war. He made numerous trips to Germany during the early war years and was awarded the German Iron Cross medal by Goering. He was no peace activist. Lindberg, along with his buddy Henry Ford wanted the same fascism here. These guys were no different than Bush, Cheney and all of the neocons. You GOPers have got a proud heritage.

    Paul,

Can you detail the link that you just made? I’d like to see the details on how you connect Hitler to Lindberg to Ford to Bush and Cheney. I’m really curious to see your reasoning there.

  12. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 11:04 AM

Paul. I was using sarcasm again. Comparing Linddergh to todays appeasers.

“These guys were no different than Bush, Cheney and all of the neocons.”

You may not know this, but “neocon” is a racial slur meaning “Jew”. If you want to see how the left has become anti-semetic, read the current issue of Rolling Stone. They talk about how a “cabal” of “neocons” are running our Mideast policy.

  13. fault Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 11:08 AM

Lets face it, Bush was responsible for the Lindberg kidnapping.

  14. JonM in MN Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 11:36 AM

Paul, you’re on to us. Ford and Lindbergh were rabid neocon GOPers. They’re the patron saints of all us neoconvicts, we recite, some might say even chant, their names at all the secret meetings.

Oh, and you’re a communist. See? I can make ridiculous charges too.

  15. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 12:03 PM

“we recite, some might say even chant, their names at all the secret meetings.”

Hey, don’t reveal our secrets. Looks like you’ll be getting a late night visit from Haliburton.

  16. jimj Says:

This Bartlett Guy like all his left wing buddies
seems to believe that “half the truth is better
than none !” What he says about LINDBERGH and HITLER is TRUE. What HE LEAVES OUT is that LINDBERGH was a Peace activist because he felt
that the US couldn’t defeat the NAZI war machine.
Once we were in WW II he supported the war effort
WHOLEHEARTEDLY unlike today’s LIBERAL CUT AND RUN
    ARTISTS !!!!

  17. Dave of the VRWC Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 1:15 PM

Jimj, correct on that. Right wing anti-war activist Lindbergh supported the war effort once it started. So did left wing anti-war activist Wisc Governor Phillip LaFollette.

Once again the far right and far left are united, but for the opposite reason.

  18. Andrew Says:
    August 7th, 2006 at 1:59 PM

Actually, I heard Dick Cheney eats babies for breakfast.

Seriously, why can’t everyone’s comments (lefties and righties both) stop after you’ve made your point, and before you’ve gone for the personal insult.

My fellow conservatives, we only lower ourselves to their level when we resort to childish whining and name calling. Remember how we have been slowly coming to power for the last 12 years. It was called the “Contract with America”. We take a stand on the issues, like our stance or not. This is why the left is so angry. We lose our power when we lose our poise.

  19. Douglas Says:
    August 8th, 2006 at 2:54 PM

I took pictures of the event, and I got a lot of pictures of the room, but didn’t seen Michael. Michael McIntee was focused on his videocam for most of the evening.
