DFL COMPLAINT DISMISSED BY CAMPAIGN FINANCE BOARD ABOUT EXPENSES RELATED TO MY PAST EMPLOYMENT AT MN GOP

By Michael B. Brodkorb | September 18, 2006

A ridiculous complaint filed by Alan Weinblatt (representing DFL State Representative Tim Mahoney) against the Republican Party of Minnesota about expenses related to my employment was dismissed.

Click here to read the findings issued by the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.

##

Findings Of Probable Cause

  1. There is evidence that the Republican Party of Minnesota itemized payments to Michael Brodkorb for staff services on the 2005 Report of Receipts and Expenditures. There is no evidence that the Republican Party of Minnesota made expenditures to, or received in-kind contributions from, Terry Cooper. There is evidence that the Republican Party of Minnesota conducts opposition candidate research with its own employees. The Board finds that there is no probable cause to believe that the Republican Party of Minnesota filed an inaccurate or incomplete Report of Receipts and Expenditures in 2005.

Based on the above Findings, the Board issues the following: Order

  1. The allegation that the Republican Party of Minnesota failed to report expenditures related to opposition candidate research is dismissed.

##

In my opinion, this complaint was payback for my work in exposing information about Matt Entenza that forced him to end his campiagn for attorney general in disgrace.

Now that the republican party has admitted that it does oposition research, I think it is necessary for you to turn over everything you collected, and everything you learned in each investigations. Also, a detailed expense report for the costs above and beyond salary would help make this situation more clear.

You asked Entenza to do this, so I am sure you would have no problem doing the same.

Roving Reporter: You are an idiot.

Let’s vote to kick Roving off of the Island (aka website).

  4. Roving Reporter Says:
    September 18th, 2006 at 2:04 PM

Why? You were the one who demanded that he reveal everything that he had learned, and said that if he didn’t, it was proof that he was hiding something.

    What are YOU hiding, Michael?

  5. Diane Says:

    Mike
    Yes he is an idiot!

    And congratulations!
    Keep up the great work!

    Roving Reporter: what’s your name?

    Roving -
Move out of your Mom’s basement and offer a positive alternative to current policies.

    You haven’t…..you won’t….and sadly you can’t.

  8. EvilDemocratz Says:
    September 18th, 2006 at 2:40 PM

    What are YOU hiding, Michael?

Yeah, what is your name? MB beat me to the question. What are you hiding, Nick?

  9. Big Kahuna Says:

Roving, are we still on for the bet of who wins for Governor?

I win, you never return under any name and just go away.

If Hatch wins, I will go away never to post again on how worthless Wellstone was. (“was” has such a nice ring to it now)

    ~ Big

  10. Roving Reporter Says:

You won’t answer my question, but demand that I answer yours?

    That isn’t how it works.

When will you release all the data collected during your time doing opposition research? If Entenza was guilty of hiding something for not doing so, I will assume you will admit to hiding things if you refuse to release all the information immediatley.

If there was a MinnesotaRepublicansExposed.com site it would stretch “ETHICS CHARGES AGAINST MICHAEL BRODKORP” into a dozen posts and ignore any dimissal of charges as if they were of no consequence.

    That’s Michael’s world.

Michael, you have my vote for booting that bombastic philistine roving goof off of this web site! He can go around making up excuses for the likes of hatch somewhere else.

// The RPM’s 2005 Report of Receipts and
Expenditures itemizes fourteen payments for “salary” to Michael Brodkorb. Political party units
are not required to disclose the duties and activities of staff. //

Ah… so we see it clearly now. MB/MDE is a tool of the Republican Party.

As if parroting every press release of Ron Carey wasn’t a clue!

  14. Roving Reporter Says:
    September 18th, 2006 at 9:52 PM

Yep. I really do tend to screw up echo chambers, don’t I?

  15. Two Putt Tommy Says:
    September 19th, 2006 at 8:33 AM

    From the Campaign Finance link:

***The affadavit confirms that Michael Brodkorb was a RPM employee from March 1, 2002, through July 31, 2005.***

Now, Michael readily acknowledges he’s on Kennedy’s payroll.

    So much for objectivity, eh?

  16. Diane Says:

    Roving”
Is it possible to have an echo..in a vacumn?

    Warning:
The sandbox is now full thanks to your s***.

And just exactly where does your ‘salary’ come from Roving?
    LameBrain Society?
One of the consultants you pulled out of the seance apparently going on in your head?
    Ahhh…let’s guess..Welfare Check!
Did one of your invisble playmates get you that position with the government?

MB is free to consult anyone he wants to and the last time I looked, just now, he states openly and clearly that he works part time consulting for Kennedy.
    Honorable work!

Pack up your ol’ kit bag on this one Roving.
Hey, why don’t you do some honorable work yourself?
Find five great things about Alan Fine to post!
    It is easy…
First, open your mind, let the zaniness out.
Then go to his website and take a moment to notice his accomplishments.
    List them and report back.
And if you really want to do a good job, call around, surprise, no dirt!
No tickets, no taxes, no campaign finance violations and no girlfriends, and no contributions from CAIR!!!
Your mission, Mr. Phelps, should you decide to accept it is to present the candidates, side by side, and let’s stat them out!

Oh and before you write it dip your fingers in the decency bucket and type with fairness and integrity please.
And I am sure we will need a second bucket for the c*** about Ellison that is not fit to print here.

    :) )

Hey your all doing great without my participation
on this! Big Kahuna, what’s wrong with you? The DISTORTER will immediately agree to your bet ! That’s because he’s a RADICAL LEFT DFLER, and (to
paraphrase JESSE VENTURA) “you KNOW what THEY LIKE to DO !!
