I liked it when Mr Kennedy had positive ads at the beginning of the campaign that focussed on his thoughts and issues. This tactic of smearing the other candidate disgusts me and I am planning on encourage others, thru multiple means, to stop voting for candidates that heavily rely on negative ads. Mr Brodkorb -- You can tell your candidate that he lost our houses vote just because of this campaign!!!! I hope you and the other candidates start waking up and cleaning up.

LGA to Minneapolis amounted to around 2% of the budget yet the police budget was cut around 10%. Since one of the primary reasons for goverment is security, wouldn't a properly run city look to cut other services first? Or perhaps to simplify things by only cutting the police budget by the amount of LGA pertentage?

"Everyone knows when the Governor cut LGA (Local Government Aid) to cities, especially to Minneapolis; there are less police on the streets. Of course crime is going to go up!"

Yup, we know that LGA was cut, we hear you everyday blaming everything on LGA cuts. Maybe you want to be more responsible for your city and those who are committing crime there. Maybe the people committing crime actually deserve some credit for the crime rate too.

In Mpls you keep blaming everyone but yourselves for allowing crime to take root. Since you booted everyone out who cares, now your stuck with the problems you created all on your own. Now do something about it and stop stealing from my family’s household budget since I don’t live in your cesspool.

I was wondering how long it would take for some liberal to blame Minneapolis crime on Pawlenty.

Did the governor march into Klobuchar's office and demand that she give out the most lenient sentences in the state, thus letting criminals back on the street?

Nice try Kathy...Minnesotans know the truth about Amy Klobuchar - soft on crime, soft on terrorism.

I guess if the national republican campaign committee had quit on me before Labor Day, I would do a lot of radio too.

I think these ads were catchy and humorous, but not particularly mean. This is in contrast to Kennedy's infamous ads morphing Wetterling into Bin Laden.

What is boring is Amy's boring TV spot talking about her big "plan". Same old, same old.

Everyone knows when the Governor cut LGA (Local Government Ais) to cities, especially to Minneapolis, there are less police on the streets. Of course crime is going to go up! The point Mark Kennedy is making sound as that Amy Klobuchar is the sole reason crime has gone up in Hennipen County. Perhaps Mark Kennedy needs to take a refresher course in Math and Civics.

Mark Kennedy is a wonderful public servant. He has proven that many times over tus far in his career.
It is a pity that he has to endyre the wrath of Klobuchar in this campaign.
He is hangling it well.
Amy is no Mark Kennedy when it comes to people skills!
Mark is a good person who has no difficulty working with staff and working FOR people of Minnesota!

Love the ad!

Why doesn't your next ad take us to Washington so that we can see you working there?
Some people forget that you are no newcomer to Washington.

Good luck Mark! We are pulling for you!

The problem with this campaign is a failure to understand human nature. First, MK is not a household name. Second, seems stiff and lacking in humor. Third, negative adds are supposed to work but a man beating up on a woman has unknown ramifications.

If I were MK I would take a play on the "Kennedy name" and point out the differences between Ted and Mark. Then I would add a snide comment that they both are cut and run when it comes to foreign policy or some other issue they agree on.

In the meantime, what is needed is more warmth, better and more direct contact with MK of a positive nature.

Whether the negative ads work, I don't know. I imagine the experts will decide on this; however, again, kicking a woman around isn't likely to work.

Klob does not seem to inspire either personal loyalty or warmth. Time to figure a way to take advantage of this.

Will they be on 93x or anything like that, or just on right wing radio?
